What areas should you wrap with PPF?

What areas should you wrap with PPF?

If you just got a new vehicle or are in the process of getting one and heard about PPF( clear bra) recently, you've probably come across lots of shops that install it and are wondering about pricing and what areas are best to wrap in paint protection film.

Do you get PPF on the front end? The high impact areas? The full vehicle?

I think it's best to think about what you'll be using the car for. If it is a daily driver, I would start with some front end protection. Track car? Full vehicle PPF is the only way to be sure everything is protected. There is a PPF package for every price range.

PPF is applied to separate panels- bumper, hood, mirrors, etc. so you can start there and add on panels depending on what you want protected most.

Our most popular packages are the Performance package ( bumper, full hood and mirrors) and the Full Front package ( bumper, full hood and fenders, mirrors, lights and a-pillars). You can customize these packages by taking off mirrors ( some vehicles have plastic or chrome mirrors that we do not put film on) or add one things such as door cups and edges or a luggage strip on the rear bumper. Rocker panels are also a really popular option to add on to a front end package especially for vehicles that are lower to the ground.

For us, a front bumper ppf install usually takes the better portion of a day with adequate drying time, anything with bumper and full hood is two days, and full vehicles take 5-7 business days to complete.

Front Bumper starting at $600

Partial Front starting at $1100

Full Front starting at $2100
Full Vehicle starting at $6495

It is also important to look at the shop that you will be using to ensure they use a quality film and are doing proper prep work before applying the film. If you would like pricing or a consult to help you decide what's best for your vehicle, come by the shop or call us anytime!
